Bajo la iniciativa colaboradora de La Asociación Cultural de Sotogrande y el Administrador de la Parroquia, el Padre Agustín Borrell, La Coral y Rondalla de Tarifa vendrán de nuevo para presentar un Concierto Navideño el sábado, 20 de diciembre a las 20:30 horas en Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro (Sotogrande).
El Párroco ha ofrecido generosamente el uso de la nueva iglesia de Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, conocida como el Santuario de la Divina Misericordia, para realizar el concierto.
La rondalla forma parte imprescindible de la Coral de Tarifa. Es decir, acompaña a los cantores con sus instrumentos de guitarra como la bandurria, laúd, octavín y contrabajo, especialmente durante la Navidad. Esto será la segunda ocasión en que la agrupación de Tarifa actuará en esta zona ya que los visitó en el año 2010 en un concierto junto con otras corales como la Camerata de Sotogrande y la Coral LIBERCHORUS del Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Algeciras.
La Coral y Rondalla de Tarifa, que en el año 2013 conmemoró su 40 Aniversario con diversos actos culturales y conciertos, ha sido distinguida por la Asociación “Tarifa la voz de un pueblo” con el premio a la cultura en 1995; y en el año 2011 con el Diploma De Honor a la divulgación Cultural que concede el Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Tarifa. En la actualidad, y por motivos de enfermedad del directo, D. Fermín Franco, el Director Corriente de la Coral y Rondalla de Tarifa es D. José María Muñoz Manso, Profesor titular del Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Paco de Lucía” de Algeciras.
Un interesante repertorio de villancicos tradicionales de varias regiones de España está en espera para los asistentes del concierto del 20 de diciembre.

THIS SATURDAY THE CHOIR AND RONDALLA OF TARIFA WILL PRESENT A CAROL CONCERT
Through the joint initiative of the Cultural Association of Sotogrande and our Parish Administrator, Padre Agustín Borrell, the Choir and Rondalla of Tarifa will come once again to present a concert of Spanish carols on Saturday, the 20th of December at 8:30 PM.
Our Parish Priest has generously offered the use of the new church in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, known as the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, to be the venue of the concert.
The Rondalla or Guitar Ensemble is an essential part of the choir from Tarifa as they always perform together especially during the Christmas season with their various guitar instruments like the lute, the piccolo and double bass. This will be the second visit of the unique ensemble from Tarifa since they performed for us in 2010 in a Christmas concert together with other choirs like the Camerata of Sotogrande and the LIBERCHORUS Choir from the Conservatory of Music of Algeciras.
The Choir and Rondalla of Tarifa, which commemorated its 40th anniversary in 2013 with a year-round series of various cultural performances and concerts, has been honored by the Association “Tarifa, the voice of a community” with an award in 1995 and 2011 represented by an Honor Diploma for its propagation of culture which was granted by the Distinguished Town Hall of Tarifa. Actually and for health reasons affecting the former active director D. Fermín Franco, the current Director of the Choir and Rondalla of Tarifa is D. José María Muñoz Manso, a titled Prfessor of the Professiona Music Conservatory “Paco de Lucía” of Algeciras.
An interesting repertoire of Christmas carols from various regions of Spain is in store for the audience on the 20th of December.
